Rodney and Lisa have been together since Rodney was a Public Defender. She was a social worker and helped him understand the intricacies of dependency law, sometimes called CPS law. Rodney left the Alternate Defense Office approximately ten (10) years ago to work with his parents, who practice primarily Family Law. Rodney would learn Family Law and Guardianship Law from them. Soon after joining his parents firm, Rusca & Rusca Law (See ruscalaw.com), The Courts began appointing him to represent children in Family Law cases. Rodney continues to accept Minors Counsel appointments from the Fresno County Superior Court as well as maintains a conflict contract for Dependency appointments for parents and children.
